An Empirical Research on Urban Rural Labor’ s Rights Equality in Ningbo

"农民工"是中国现代社会经济发展中的特有现象。分析外来农民工在流入地的权利平等问题,揭示他们利益受损的制度原因、经济原因和社会原因,并寻找有效的、快捷的路径,对保证社会主义和谐社会建设具有重要意义。在维护外来农民工的权利平等问题上,地方政府要承担起应有的责任,在制度安排、权利平等、社会公平、社会保障等方面更多地作出改进。

The Urban Rural Labor’ is the unique phenomenon in the process of social and economic development in modern China. We should analyze the issues of urban rural labor rights, reveal reasons of their benefit damage and seek an effective and efficient way. It has great significance to ensure the construction of socialist harmonious society. To safeguard urban rural labor equal rights, the local governments must undertake their responsibilities to give them more protection in aspects of system arrangement, rights equality, social justice, social security, and etc.
