校友会在美国大学发展过程中扮演着重要角色,担负多种职能。在不同历史阶段,不同院校根据自身的性质、特点与社会需要,发展出不同类型的校友会组织。这些不同类型的大学校友会结构合理、设置规范,做到了专业化管理,能够保持高效率运作,顺利完成所担负的各项具体职能与任务。
The alumni associations play an important role in the process of development of American universities,and they take on a variety of functions.In different times,different institutions have developed different types of alumni associations,in accordance with their own characteristics and social needs.These different types of University Alumni Associations with reasonable structure and standard setups have successfully accomplished their specific functions and tasks by the professional management and the effective operations.
