语言是文化重要的组成部分,离开了文化语言就无从谈起。英语同样如此,不懂英语语言文化,是不可能学好英语的,然而,在部分高校的英语教学中英语语言文化却往往被忽视,这就造成了学生们严重的英语阅读障碍,因此,外语教师在教学中应对语言文化教学引起足够的重视。

Language is a significant component of culture, though language would be useless without culture. English is no exception, so the cultural background is crucial to the mastery of the foreign language. This paper denounces the fact that the English learning is separate from the cultural learning in some Chinese universities.
