应用跨层设计的思想,提出了一种结合网络层和MAC层的跨层带宽预留保证机制——邻居预留(NR,Neighborhood Reservation),以减轻Ad Hoc网络中由于相邻节点在MAC层的信道竞争,对带宽预留产生的影响。

To alleviate the impact on reserved bandwidth caused by channel contention at MAC layer in ad hoe netWorks,this paper proposes a cross- layer mechanism, neighborhood reservation （NR）, which can provide guarantee for the bandwidth reservation.
