Population is an important problem in the process of a national and regional comprehensive, coordinated, and sustainable development. As China＇s largest population province, Henan is facing an unprecedented and complex situation. Based on comprehensive analysis on the present situation of population of Henan province in the process of economic and social development, the paper makes out some characteristics and problems of population of Henan province, and provides foundation and basis for solving the population problems and making population policies, in order to prompt Henan into a province of the high quality population.
