Prospect and challenges of our country’s distance education in vocational education in rural areas

农村是我国的重要组成部分，因而农村职业教育对农村经济的发展具有举足轻重的作用。文章在论述了现阶段农村职业教育的发展现状以及远程教育在发展农村职业教育方面的可行性的基础上，重点阐述了远程教育在农村职业教育方面的前景与挑战，并对远程教育在农村职业教育方面的作用提出了建议。

The countryside is an important component of our country, so vocational education in the countryside has a pivotal function for the development of rural economy. This article first elaborates the present situation of vocational education development in the countryside, and then introduces the feasibility of distance learning in vocational education of the countryside. At last it elaborates the prospect and challenges of distance education in the countryside vocational education, and puts forward several suggestions for the role that distance education plays in the countryside vocational education.
