Streaming media technology and its application in web-based education

随着网络、多媒体技术的发展，产生了新型的传播媒体一流媒体。流媒体的产生使其成为因特网上传输视、音频等多媒体信息的主要形式。文章就传统因特网传输实时信息时存在的缺陷，流媒体播放方式、传输特点以及流媒体技术在网络教育中的应用进行分析与探讨。

With the development of network and multimedia technology, a new type of dissemination media has come into being, that is, streaming media. The production of streaming media makes it become a main form of transmitting audio, video and other multimedia information on the Internet. This paper analyzes and discusses its flaw when transmitting real-time information by traditional methods on the Internet, way of broadcasting, characteristics of its transmission on the network, and the application of streaming media technology in web-based education.
