A Discussion of City Flavor Ci in the Northern Song Dynasty

北宋时期,潘阆首先在词中写意城市风光,柳永则真正开拓了以词描摹城市风情的新境域,张先对此也有贡献;韩琦、苏轼、仲殊、秦观、周邦彦等词人则继续把城市风情词发扬光大。

Pan Lang, famous Ci writer of the Northern Song Dynasty, is the first to describe city flavor in form of Ci. Then Liu Yong broadens this new literary style and Zhang Xian also makes a partial contribution. The other Ci writers, like Han Qi, Su Shi, Zhong Shu, Qin Guan, Zhou Bangyan, continue to carry forward and spread this style of Ci.
