Exploration of Academic and Administrative Power in Higher Education Institutions in China

学术权力和行政权力是存在于大学内部的两种基本权力形式,两者既相互冲突、相互制约,又相互协调、相互合作。只有构建以校长为中心的权力体系,处理好两种权力之间的关系,实现大学内部权力结构优化,才能保证大学管理的高效、科学、民主。

Academic power and administative power are two basic powers in universities either in conflict or in restriction,or in cooperation with each other reciprocally.Only by establishing the power system with the president in the core and by properly dealing with the relationship between the two powers and bringing about an all round improvement of the interior framwork,can the efficient,scientific and democratic managements in universities be ensured.
