摘要
TOD(Transit-Oriented Development,公共交通为导向的城市土地开发)交通走廊是以大运量的客运走廊为载体,通过选择若干站点进行TOD模式的开发,突破传统的单个节点开发形式,充分发挥规模效应,形成整合优势。
TOD traffic corridor can support large passenger transport volume. Through choosing a number of sites for the exploration of TOD, we can break through a traditional form of noding, and fully display the effect of large scale, so, the integrated advantage will appear. Taking the Rosslyn-Ballston axle-shaped corridor of Arlington County (that is called R-B corridor for short in the following text) as a case, which locates in the south-west of Washington D.C., we analyzed the formation mechanisms of the corridor from different levels, and summarized the positive experience from the TOD traffic corridor constructing.
