On the basis of establishing a scientific and reasonable prescription and combined with the clinical practices this article introduced the selection principle of acupoint and the rule of prescription in acupuncture and moxibustion therapy. It provided some theoretical reference material in prescribing in acupuncture and moxibustion therapy for clinical acupuncturist.
