Application of Z204/Z205 reforming catalysts in the oxygen secondary reformer of a large-scale methanol plant

四川天一科技股份有限公司生产的Z204、Z205型二段转化催化剂成功地应用于吐哈甲醇厂的24万t/a甲醇装置纯氧二段转化炉运行了近1年,在装置接近满负荷的情况下,转化各项指标达到设计要求。二段转化工艺特点及催化剂性能被介绍。工业化实践证明本转化工艺节能效果显著,催化剂性能优异,可在大型甲醇装置推广使用。

The Z204 and Z205 sacondary reforming catalysts from Sichuan Tianyi Science and Technology Co., Ltd., have been used successfully in the oxygen secondary reformer of Tuha methanol plant with a capacity of 240 kt/a for nearly one year, and they could meet the design requirements in almost full capacity. This secondary reforming process and the performances of the reforming catalysts were described. The industrial demonstration proved this reforming process was obviously energy-saving and the reforming catalysts were excellent, and they are recommended for use in the large-scale methanol units.
