Deng Xiaoping’s Main Contributions to Theory of Socialist Market Economy and Its Practical Significance

党的十七大指出:"中国特色社会主义理论体系,就是包括邓小平理论、‘三个代表’重要思想以及科学发展观等重大战略思想在内的科学理论体系。"社会主义市场经济理论是邓小平理论的重要组成部分。十一届三中全会以后,邓小平社会主义市场经济理论经历了一个不断完善和发展的三个主要阶段,最终成功实现经济体制的根本性变革,对马克思主义经济理论具有重要贡献。当前我国改革开放进入攻坚阶段,需要用科学的、正确的邓小平社会主义市场经济理论引导各种社会思潮,保证社会主义市场经济体制改革的方向。

The theory of socialist market economy is an important composition of Deng Xiaoping theory. Since the third plenary session of the l lth central committee of the CCP, Deng＇ s theory of socialist market economy, through the unceasing consummation and development in three phases, realized ultimatly the essential transformation of the economic system and contributed much more to marxism economy. Nowadays, China＇ s reform is at the key phase, which need Deng＇ s theory of socialist market economy to lead every kind of idelogical trend and guarantee the direction of reform of socialist market economy.
