浅析《哀希腊》在中国的译介

Analysis of the Translation of the Isles of Greece in China

拜伦的诗作《哀希腊》在近代中国有梁启超、马君武、苏曼殊、胡适等四个译本。从对其译介研究现状出发,从对以上译本的比较入手,从微观角度和宏观角度两方面加以分析,从而认识到翻译的意义和本质。即翻译不是一个简单的语言文字的转换过程,而是一个文化政治行为。译者首先要服从的不是原文,而是译入语文化中的道德规范、意识形态、诗学观念等。

Byron＇ s poem had four different translating versions by Liang Qichao, Ma Junwu, Su Manshu, and Hu Shi, The paper made an analysis on the above versions mentioned from the perspective of current research situation and comparison between a micro aspect and a macro aspect. The purpose of the study is to attain an accurate understanding of the significance and essence of the translation activity . The paper concluded that translation can not be seen as a process of merely linguistic transference, but that of a cuhural and political action. And the translator must, above all, be subject not to the original text, but to the ethic morals, ideology, and poetics of the target language.
