摘要 听觉显示是应用声音表示信息,通过听觉来显示和传递信息。本文首先介绍了听觉显示的研究背景,回顾了听觉显示的研究历史和国内外的研究现状,指出了听觉显示方面主要的研究领域;其次通过对听觉显示用户界面研究及可听化研究的分析,对当前听觉显示研究的发展进行了总结;最后对听觉显示及其应用研究前景提出了一些展望,旨在为今后的研究和应用提供一点思路。 Auditory display is the technology that communicates information through sound. The research background, history and current status of auditory display are firstly introduced. The main research areas of auditory display are showed. Secondly the current research situation and development trends about auditory display are reviewed. Finally an overview of prospective development of this area is given.

  • 1GAO Panpan and SHEN Jun -Xian(Institute of Biophysics, Academia Sinica, Beijing 100080)The phonotaxis of bushcrickets demonstrates that they have good capability of recognizing conspecific songs and locating the sound source, which bases on complicated auditory mechanisms of the central nervous system (CNS). This article describes the response characteristics of AN3, an auditory ascending neuron in the prothoracic ganglion, and its projections within the brain. The AN3 , with a quasi-tonic discharge pattern, has high sensitivity, directionality and ability to encode sound intensity. Therefore, it plays an important role in auditory information processing of CNS.
