Effect of Lay-by Time on Panel Furniture Edge Banding Quality

研究了板式家具生产中,中密度纤维板部件裁板后摆放时间对封边质量的影响。裁板后摆放12个不同时间段再封边,按国家标准测试封边胶合强度。试验结果表明,裁板后的摆放时间对封边质量有明显影响,裁板后摆放1￣2d封边,封边胶合强度最佳。

A study was made on the effect of the lay-by time of sawed MDF furniture components on their edge banding quality. The bond strength between banding materials and component edges were measured according to relevant National Standards for 12 different lay-by time gaps from sawing to edge banding. The results showed that the edge banding quality was markedly affected by the lay-by time. Board edges banded in 1-2 days after being sawed had the best bond strength.
