平民教育就是面向全体普通民众的系统教育，其特点是教育对象的大众性与普及性、教育目的突出平民的生计与发展、教育内容的实用性、教育方式三位一体、教育推动力的政府主导性。平民教育通过其在不同教育阶段和不同受教育群体中的作用极大地影响着社会公平与正义，因此我们应该大力推进之。

Its characteristics are the popularity of educational objects, the livelihood and growth of the educational purposes, the trinity of educational methods, and the government leading character of educational propelling force. Mass education influence the social equity and justice remarkably through its affect on different stages and objective groups of education, so we should devote major efforts to promoting it.
