摘要
新农村建设的重要目标是谋求生产发展，而生产发展依赖于科技创新和农民科技素质的提高，从而提高农业的生产率，促进农民增收，实现生活宽裕。这样农民才能尽快转变传统的遗风旧俗，实现乡风文明；也才能直接参与并主导农村经济、政治、文化，实现民主管理。农村职教在提高农民科技能力和转变观念上都有显著功效，十七大对它在未来五年的发展做出了具体描绘，因此农村职教在新农村建设中能切实起着推进器的作用。
The objective of new countryside construction is to strive for production development. And the production development is dependent on scientific technology creation and the promotion of farmer＇s quality because they can increase agriculture productivity, enhance the farmer＇s earnings and make the farmers become richer. Therefore, the farmers can change the old customs into civilization as soon as possible, and they can participate in and lead the rural economy, politics and culture to realize democracy management. Rural professional education has remarkable functions in enhancing the farmer＇s scientific technology ability and changing their concepts and the 17th National Congress of the CPC has made a specific description of its development in the future five years, so it pays an important role as an engine in the rural development.
