论非英语专业学生英语语音学习的必要性

On the learning of English phonetics for the non-English majors

大学非英语专业英语课不讲授英语语音有悖于语言学习规律和语言的构成,是不科学的。大学英语教育必需开设英语语音课,要达到大学英语课程教学要求的各项教学要求和目标。

As the college English is a compulsory course for undergraduates for two years or longer, the non-English majors are required to pass the college English tests of Band 4 and/or Band 6. However, they may pass the tests successfully despite their poor spoken proficiency or Chinese English. So the paper urges the learning of the English phonetics.
