摘要
介绍了基于图像与几何空间的实时阴影绘制算法,使用shadow map处理非阴影边缘区域,使用shadow volume处理阴影边缘区域,既克服了shadow map容易出现的走样现象,在性能上又较shadow volume有了很大提高。在具体实现中,引入了计算掩码技术,以实现对阴影边缘区域的划分。
The paper introduces an image-based and geometry-based real-time shadow rendering algorithm, which only applies shadow volume algorithm in dealing with shadow silhouette pixels but uses shadow map algorithm to determine shadows for non-silhouette pixels. This approach overcomes the aliasing phenomenon which shadow map algorithm is prone to, and significantly reduces the filling rate in shadow volume algorithm. The technique of computation mask is introduced to the implementation of the algorithm for partitioning the shadow silhouette pixels.
