20世纪以来盐业是运城教育事业的重要支撑,从解放前的运学到解放后各级学校的创办,都离不开运城盐业的支持。同时,围绕运城盐池展开的各种经济、文艺活动以及有关文学作品,也促进了运城群众文化的繁荣。
