峨嵋武术门派分类中五花八叶是一种流传很广的,也被很多峨嵋派武术文化研究者习惯采用的分类方法。本文从五花八叶的具体内容,产生的历史原因,峨嵋佛教文化史考证,峨嵋武术历史记载,明清时候四川哥老会的历史等方面对此种分类方法的正确性进行考证,说明将峨嵋武术门派分为五花八叶的分类方法是值得商榷的。

Wuhuabaye is a popular way taken by researchers to classify the Emei martial art. The article proves it worth the study and discussion through the research on the meanings and contents of this classification, the historical background of its birth, the research on the culture of Emei Buddhism and history of Emei martial art, as well as the research on the record of folk religion and secret associations of Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty.
