Using cutting propagation technique, the seedlings of Eucalyptus urophylla x E. grandis can be obtained with developed roots, which is of benefit to afforestation. The cost of the cutting-propagated seedling is 0.03-0.05 RMB each, lower than that of the tissue-cultured, saving 0.1 RMB each. This indicates that the cost of the seedlings by cutting propagation can be reduced and the raising seedling rotation is shortened, so the cutting propagation technique can be widely used in forestry production,
