Translation Criticism from the Perspective of Foregrounding

从前景化的角度出发探讨翻译中原语与目的语偏离常规的现象以及偏离常规与意义表达之间的关系，认为将前景化的概念应用到翻译批评中可以为翻译批评提供一种理性化的依据，从一个新的视角评价翻译活动及其译品、译作，拓展理论研究范围。

This paper, based on the theory of foregrounding, analyzes the phenomena of deviation from the norm, with regard to translation in both the source language and the target language, and the relation between deviation and meaning. The paper presents that the notion of foregrounding can be applied to translation criticism as a theoretical basis from a different angle, and it will become an interesting subject for the study of translation criticism.
