汉语“前”、“后”时间表达中的空间隐喻

On Spatial Metaphor in Chinese Time Expressions of Qian and Hou

认知语言学认为隐喻是人类基本的认知活动，时间的空间隐喻表征主要基于两个隐喻系统：“时间在动”隐喻系统和“自我在动”隐喻系统。分析这两个隐喻系统在汉语“前”、“后”时间表达中的表现，发现汉语使用中“前”、“后”不对称，并做出了解释。

Cognitive linguistics holds that metaphor is a basic activity in human＇s daily life. The spatial metaphoric representation of time mainly consists of two metaphoric systems, time--moving metaphor system and ego--moving metaphor system. This paper mainly analyses the time expressions Chinese qian and hou based on the two metaphor systems. The asymmetric use of Chinese qian and hou is found and explained.
