应用型本科的培养目标是应用型人才,其科研与教学都应围绕应用型人才来进行。与普通本科相比,应用型本科教学具有明显的实践性;应用型本科科研强调实践性的教育价值取向。实践性是应用型本科教学与科研共有的特性,从而使其教学与科研相统一成为可能,当前要加强应用型本科教学与科研的统一,使其更好地为培养应用型人才服务。需要提倡实践性的教学,强化应用型本科科研的实践性教育价值,强调应用型本科科研的实践应用性。真正把科研当作是应用型人才培养的一种手段。

Training applicative personnel talents is the aim of technological and applied under graduate education, around which the teaching practice and research are carried. By contrast with the general undergraduate, the teaching practice of technological and applied graduate education has the obvious practicing orientation, as it stresses the value of practical teaching. The practice is the common feature of teaching practice and research of technological and applied graduate education, that makes it possible that its teaching practice and research get unified, whose base, starting point and destination is training applicative personnel, around which to generate the teaching practice and research to make the training aim better come true. The practical teaching should be encouraged, the value of practical teaching of the research of technological and applied graduate education should be strengthened, and its practical application should be stressed. The research should be taken seriously as a method of training applicative personnel.
