The thesis is a cultural study of fantastic literature, which is becoming an eye-catching thing in contemporary Chinese popular literature. The various origins and different developments of Chinese fantastic literature, and its cultural identity and unique creativity are topics here. Based on the analyses above, this paper purports to conclude that fantastic literature still owns a huge space to develop in artistic area or spiritual creativity.
