It often has several schemes during the design of highway route, and how to select the best is the key of the design. Set pair analysis is a systems analysis method of dealing with uncertain questions. It has many virtues, including specific concept, simple calculation, and comprehensive information. The highway route scheme optimization model is built up based on the identical degree of set pair analysis. This paper uses the variation coefficient method to calculate the weight of indexes, improves the reliability of designing scheme evaluation, and introduces a simple and effective appraisal approach of highway route scheme optimization.
