Introduction to the New Column of Wenchuan Earthquake Medical Rescue

中国工程院许绍燮院士发现：在千公里尺度的地层，即全中国地层甚至整个亚洲地层，可在以时、分、秒计算的瞬间发生整体浮动，释放惊人的能量引发大地震。2008年5月12日14时28分在四川汶川发生的里氏8．0级地震分布于各方向地震带的一个广大空白交汇点，存在着大尺度的证据。

In the large-scale strata up to thousands of kilometers in dimension acrossing China or even the whole Asian region, an integrated floating may take place in an instant which can release tremendous energy to cause a huge earthquake, revealed by Prof. XU Shao-xie, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering. The Wenchuan earthquake that happened at 14：28 on May 12, 2008 measuring 8.0 on the Richter scale was located at an intersection point of several earthquake belts along different directions, which may account for such a large-scale earthquake.
