和谐社会视域的农民工社会保障问题

On the Migrant Workers’ Social Security Issues from the Perspective of Harmonious Society

党的十七大强调加强社会建设和构建和谐社会的重要性。农民工社会保障制度建设是当前社会建设的重要内容之一,也是构建和谐社会的制度性基础。但是,现有的城乡社会保障体系缺乏专门针对农民工的社会保障制度。要解决这一问题,需要国家通过改革户籍制度,制定相关法律、加大宣传教育等方法,分层分类解决农民工的社会保障问题。

The 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasized the importance of strengthening social construction and building of a harmonious society. Building the social security system for migrant workers currently is one of the important contents of social construction. And it is the institutional foundation of building a harmonious society. However, the existing urban and rural social systems lack the specialized social system for migrant workers. To solve this problem, it requires our country to reform the household registration system, to formulate relevant laws, to intensify publicity and education and make classification etc.
