On the Reasons for the Continuous Increase of Criminal Phenomena since Opening and Reform

我国改革开放以来,社会犯罪现象呈现持续增长的态势,其原因错综复杂,且具有系统性。改革开放的社会背景造成了急剧的社会变迁和转轨,进而导致了犯罪率的剧增。其具体表现在社会城市化进程加快,流动人口大量涌入;社会经济状况两极分化、贫富差距悬殊;社会心理失衡,仇官仇富心理加剧;腐败犯罪负面影响等方面,给社会治安带来了隐患。

In our country, the crimes increase continuously since opening and reform in our country. The reasons for it are complicated and systematic. The essential reason of sharp increase of crimes is the drastic transformation of society in the background of opening up~ and reform. These reasons are embodied in many aspects, such as fast urbanization, inburst of floating population, polarization of economic situation, unbalance of social psychology, hostile to officers and the rich, the negative influence of corrupt offence and so on. All of these engender hidden troubles.
