《吉尔伽美什》是古巴比伦英雄史诗。主人公吉尔伽美什的英雄形象经历了由善恶同体的半神式英雄到勇敢与怯懦共存的凡人式英雄的变化过程,这一过程反映了古代美索不达米亚人对世界的认识经历了由神主宰世界到人对抗神并渴望人自己主宰世界的过程。
Gilgamesh is a Babylonian epic. The hero image Gilgamesh has evolved from a semi-god hero with good and evil co-existed to a human hero with courage and cowardice mingled. It reveals that, in the awareness of the world, the ancient Mesopotamians has experienced the process from a world which is dominated by God to the human beings who protest against Gods＇ manipulation of human destiny and desire to dominate the world.
