SWOT Analysis of Economic Transformation in Tangshan City

唐山市是煤炭资源型重工业城市,虽然近年经济发展态势良好,但主要是依靠单一的资源型产业支撑。一旦资源枯竭,唐山市经济发展将面临衰退。因此,唐山市经济转型刻不容缓。利用SWOT分析法,得出结论:唐山市正处于经济转型的最佳时期,并对唐山市经济转型提出建议。

Tangshan city is traditional coal resource-dependent, with a fast tendency of economic development, but mainly counting on single resource-dependent industry and other industries lacking in competition. Once the resources are drying, its economic development will be faced with withering. There is no time to delay the economic transformation. By SWOT analysis, this paper draws a conclusion that Tangshan is at the best to transform its economic mode. Some proposals are put forward at last.
