Self-Aligning Force between Top and Bottom Drafting Rollers on Pendulum Weighting Arms

本文提出了胶辊的弹簧模型,用以解释胶辊自调恢复力的产生机理,求算了恢复力与胶辊偏斜角等变量间的定量关系,取得了与实验较一致的结果。

A 'spring model' for the top roller is proposed to study the self-aligning action be-tween top and bottom drafting rollers. Based on this model, the mechanics of the contactfriction between top and bottom rollers with their axes slightly misaligning is investigated.The analytic formula of the self-aligning force is derived. The results thus obtained agreewell with those from experiments.
