摘要
该文从英汉互译的直译与意译这两个基本策略入手具体阐述了直译与意译的概念,并在此基础上全面分析了策略运用的总体原则、基本步骤和常用方法。
The paper focuses on explaining the concepts of two basic strategies in English - Chinese or Chinese - English translation： literal translation and free translation, and comprehensively analyzing overall principle, essential procedures and frequently used techniques of the two strategies＇ application.
