摘要
目前因特网隐私问题已经成为了网络用户最关注的问题之一。P3P通过提供一个标准的可机读格式,以及一个能使Web浏览器自动读取和处理策略的协议的方式表达了Web站点的隐私策略。本文介绍了P3P的工作原理,部署方法以及该领域的进展及研究方向。
Internet privacy has become one of the most concerned issues to the network users. P3P provides a standard with machine-readable format and a protocol which allows Web browser to read the agreement automatically and process the policy to express a Web site＇s privacy policy. In this paper, we introduce ideas of the technical implementation, and explain the adoption of the technology to implement the strategy. Some achievements and research directions for future work are also discussed.
