写猫妙手 办展名家--北京画派工笔动物画家吴仲康

北京画派是20世纪上半叶中国画坛的一个重要流派,吴仲康是一位颇有造诣和影响的京派画家。吴仲康师从曹克家,学画从工笔动物入手,师法自然,并借鉴西洋绘画艺术手法,作画写猫见长。此外,吴仲康先生还是画界的一位活动家,热心举办画展活动,是多次画展的发起人和组织者,并与许多画家都有深入的交往,是一位对北京绘画艺术作出过贡献的京派画家。

During the first half of the 20th century, the Beijing painting genre played an important role in the Chinese painting, WU Zhong-kang was one of it who was versed in painting. He learned from Caokejia, beginning at paint animals, painting realistically, using western brushwork technique for reference. Furthermore, he campaigned many exhibitions and being initiator many times. He had good relationships with many other painters. He was a painter who had contributed to the Beijing painting art.
