先秦史传文学叙事传统与汉代今文诗学的经学叙事

Heritage of Narration in Pre-Qin Historical Literature and Its Impact on the Narrative Style of Song-Dynasty Poetics

先秦史传文学作为中国早期的叙事文学代表,对后世叙事文学影响巨大。汉代今文诗学著作《韩诗外传》中的某些叙事篇章,与《左传》、《晏子春秋》等先秦史传文学有着明显的直接承袭痕迹。今文诗学的经学叙事中继承了杂史类叙事传统,而对《左传》中的故实,或不加采信,或加以改编、敷衍。这种出于经学目的的文学化叙事,客观上促进了叙事文学的发展,对后世的子部小说及杂史类传记文学都有直接的影响。汉代经学叙事对早期史传叙事传统的继承、发展和新变,是中国早期叙事文学发展中的重要一环。

As the representative of early Chinese narrative literature, the historical literature before the Qin dynasty （221 B.C. -206 B. C. ） has had great impact on later narrative literature. Some of the narrative chapters in Hart Shi Wai Zhuan during the Han dynasty （202 B. C. -220 A. D. ） are obviously the direct in- heritance of the style adopted in works of pre-Qin historical literature such as Zuo Zhuan and Yah Zi Chun Qiu. In the narrative of the then poetic study of Confucian classics, a common practice is the inheritance of the narrative tradition of unofficial historiography while discarding, adapting or casually handling of the stories told in Zuo Zhuan. This literary tendency of narration, aiming at the study of Confucian classics at that time, has resulted in prosperity of narrative literature and has directly influenced the argumentation-oriented novels and history-oriented biographies in later dynasties. By inheriting, developing and altering the earlier narrative tradition of historical literature, the Han-dynasty Confucianism-oriented narration has marked an important stage of early Chinese history of narrative literature.
