Pollen Morphology of the Genus Lasianthus

研究了茜草科粗叶木属植物9种和1亚种1变种在光学显微镜、立体显微镜、扫描电镜下的花粉形态。粗叶木属植物花粉单粒,中等大小,大多数为圆球形,花粉形态特征呈现较高的多样性,具有一定的分类学和系统学意义。

The pollen grains morphology of nine species, one variety and one subspecies of Lasianthus Jack （Rubiaceae） were examined by light microscopy, stereomicroscope and scanning electron microscopy. Lasianthus is eurypalyous, mostly medium in size and spheroidal in shape. The results revealed the remarkable diversity of pollen characteristics and the pollens can be morphologically recognized among species of Lasianthus, as well as Lasianthus and related genera.
