The study of using signal processing technology to improve optical devices

在介绍光通信技术发展的基础上,进一步提出了WDM系统,深入地研究了利用信号处理技术来设计三种光器件的方法,具体包括:光纤波长交错复用器、用于色散补偿的全通滤波器、电子均衡器。

This paper described the development of the optical communication technology first, then introduced the concept of WDM system based on it. Following that it brought forward a method of designing three kinds of optical devices making use of the signal processing technology.It included that： optical wavelength interleaver, all-pass filter for dispersion compensation and electronic equalizer.
