The Background of Lexical Approach

词汇法(lexical approach)作为一种新兴的综合性的语言教学法,以词汇项(lexical items)形式和语用的连结点,将词汇作为语言教学的中心,在理论上相对成熟和完善。其理论来源包括以学生为中心、强调培养学生语用能力的交际法,主张词汇组块作基础的教学思想,以及语料库语言学的统计、分析方法。

Lexical approach is a new kind of integrated approach,which values lexis as centre of language teaching,with lexical items as the link of structual and pragmatic elements.It is relatively theoretically mature.The background of the theory involves communicative approach which emphasize developing pragmatic competence,idea of lexical chunks,and statisitcal method of corpus linguistics.
