China＇s financial performance showed the following features in the first quarter of 2008. Year-on-year growth of money supply （M2, M1 and MO） leveled off remarkably. Expansion of RMB loans decelerated considerably. Growth of RMB deposits rebounded greatly, and both resident and corporate funds were ample in general. The. interbank market witnessed brisk RMB transactions and stable interest rates. The RMB continued to appreciate against the USD.
