摘要
随着埃塞俄比亚高等教育规模的迅速扩大,高校教师短缺问题日益突出,呈现出总量不足、分布不均、高职称高学位教师比例偏低、非教学人员比例过高、自我培养能力不足等问题。为此,埃塞俄比亚政府采取了提高教师待遇、拓宽高校教师培养渠道、聘任外籍教师和移居国外者前来任教、加强学术交流和合作、加快高等教育管理体制改革等措施来促进高校师资队伍建设,解决教师短缺问题,促进高等教育的健康发展。
With the rapid development of higher education in Ethiopia, the shortage of teaching staff be- comes very prominent. The problems mainly include insufficient supply of teachers, uneven academic distribution, low qualifications, high proportion of non-teaching staff, and low ability for professional development. In order to change the situation and to improve the composition and supply of teaching staff for the sustainable development of higher education in Ethiopia, the government has introduced some measures including improving teachers' salary and benefits, opening more routes for teacher preparation, employing foreign teachers, enhancing academic coop-eration and exchange, and reforming the system of administration etc.
