The commercial test project rated at 5 kt/a hexane- 1, on which PetroChina has the independent intellectual property right, is under construction intensively at the No.2 Chemical Plant of Daqing Petrochemical Company. This project adopts the ethylene oligomerization process for manufacture of hexane-1 in the presence of chromium catalyst. The investment in this project totals 74 million RMB and the project is scheduled for completion by the end of September 2008.
