Mao Zedong’s Rich Experiences in Dealing with Contradictions Among People and the Historical Lessons

在长达半个多世纪的时间里,毛泽东在带领中国共产党和中国人民进行新民主主义革命、社会主义革命和社会主义建设的过程中,要处理大量人民内部矛盾。从宏观层面上看,其中最主要的有两个方面:一是如何处理与农民阶级的关系;二是如何处理与民族资产阶级的关系。在这两个方面,毛泽东都积累了丰富的经验,也留下了深刻的教训。这些经验教训作为宝贵的思想资源,对于当前的社会主义社会建设具有重要的参考价值和借鉴意义。

During a period of more than half a century, Mao Zedong had to deal with abundant contradictionsamong people, in the processof the new democratic revolution, socialist revolution and socialist construction, guiding the CPC and Chinese people. From a macro level, there are two principal aspects: one is how to deal with the relation with the peasant class, and the other with the national bourgeoisie. In these two aspects, Mao Zedong had accumulated rich experiences, but also left profound lessons. These experiences and lessons, as a valuable resource of ideas, have an important reference value and reference meaning for the current construction of a socialist society.
