理论联系实际是马克思主义的一条重要原则，是辩证唯物主义认识论的核心内容。它符合人的全面发展和认识规律，也是时代对人才的要求，是大学生成才的必由之路。高等学校所培养的人才必须是理论与实践相结合的专门人才，理论联系实际应该成为高等工程教育的基本原则之一。我们必须在高教改革中努力探索理论联系实际的教学方法和途径，把这个原则贯穿于教学的全过程，在切实加强理论教学的同时，重视提高实践能力，使学生理论学习的成果反复在实践中得到巩固和充实，更好地掌握知识和技能，学懂会用。总之，高等学校必须坚定不移地贯彻理论联系实际的教学原则。

To combine theory with practice is an important principle of marism,the core of the theory of knowledge of dialectical materialism.It conforms to the overall development and the rule of knowledge,it is also a demand on the talents to ensure the university students for success.Putting theory into practice is a basic principle in higher educational organizations.Some research would be done into the methodology and approach of how to combine theory with practice in the educational reform,and to apply the principle to the whole process of teaching and learning,so that the theoretical achievements can be reinforced and strengthened in practical work.In one word,higher educational organizations must firmly carry out the teaching principle of combining theory with practice.
