在悠久的城市历史发展中,创造出来的璀璨夺目的文明,最能形象而具体表现的就是各个时期的建筑。本文以杭州为例,论述了近百年来城市建筑发展的历程和特点,指出传承和创新是建筑的永恒主题。当前,随着城市现代化建设的发展,传统和创新正在不断发生"碰撞",作者建议着力探索两者的最佳结合点,创造新时代我国城市建筑文化,彻底改变"建筑千城一面"的现象,为创建城市文明作贡献。

In the development of long urban history, what can most vividly and concretely demonstrates the brilliant civilization created by mankind is the buildings in various periods of time. Taking Hangzhou as a case for study, the paper expounds the course and features of urban architectural development in the past hundred years, and points out that heritance and innovation are the eternal architectural subject. Presently, with the development of urban modernization construction, tradition keeps on ＂colliding＂ with innovation. The author suggests that efforts be made to find the optimal linking point of the two, create our urban architectural culture of new times and thoroughly change the phenomenon of Uall with the same feature＂ in buildings so as to make contributions to the promotion of urban civilization.
