Regeneration of Post-industrial Sites on Sydney Harbour

Ballast Point and Former BP Site Public Parkland both have a similar starting point. They are on petroleum based industrial sites that have, for both environmental and economic reasons, been decommissioned from Sydney＇s harbour foreshore and relocated to areas with an industrial base. The two sites are located directly opposite one another on two promontories that form the gateway to the inner harbour.
