摘要 扩展的无线局域网(Extended WLAN)是网络终端通过接入点(AP)与WLAN外的节点通信并进行相互之间连接的网络。文章使用OPNET Modeler对扩展的WLAN进行了研究和仿真。在现实环境下搭建了WLAN并使用测试软件NetIQ Chariot和Network stumbler对网络进行实测。从理论与实践上得出对比,较全面分析了WLAN的性能。 Extended WLAN is a network in which the workstations communicate with each other and with nodes outside their LAN through the Access Point (AP) .This paper describes investigation and simulation of the Extended WLAN based on OPNET Modeler, including the measurement the performance of WLAN with NetIQ Chario and Network stumbler through settting up a WLAN .Finally, by comparing theoretical and practical results, the performance of WLAN is presented.
