基于小波变换的数字图像压缩

Research about coding algorithms of image compression based on wavelet transformation

摘要 利用小波图像系数特点,实现高效压缩编码,给出了小波图像系数统计数据实例,然后对基于小波变换的嵌入式图像编码方法中最具代表性的SPIHT编码算法的原理进行了分析,并通过实验对SPIHT算法进行了性能分析及其改进,并给出了实验结果。 Using the features of wavelet image Coefficients, realized high efficiency image compression. The examples of the wavelet image coefficients statistic are given. The SPIHT is the representative method of embedded image coding algorithms based on wavelet transform. In this paper, the main principle is analysed and compared, and the performance of SPIHT algorithm is analysed and improved by experiment.
